Biography

Jill Adams is a based in Bournemouth on the south coast of England where she runs her company, Nursey Bang bang producing Art, illustrations and hand-made items from pixie hoods to horses tails. She is currently working on a series of new projects with Emmylou Cakehead for Dastardly and Custard.
She trained at Winchester School of Art and after graduating in 1988 she lectured part-time at Bournemouth College of Art and Design and worked as a free-lance designer.
She lives by the sea with her 3 daughters and her dogs Mala and Pooh.

Mission Statement

I'm often told that I am interested in too many things, 'You need to focus Jill', they say. But I love to work with lots of different disciplines from knitting small hats for my papier mache figures, drawing, painting canvases, making biker jackets for poodles (well I thought she looked fabulous), fashioning feather strewn cocktail rings and the art of dressing up.

I have worked with PR creatives developing ideas and am currently working on a series of papier mache figures for an exhibition in November 2009.
